Jisoo of Blackpink has reached 500 million views on YouTube with the music video for her solo song “Flower,” according to her agency, Blissoo Entertainment, on Tuesday. The video achieved this milestone in 409 days, marking the shortest time for a female K-pop solo singer.
“Flower” is the lead track from Jisoo’s first solo album “ME,” released in March last year. The song topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 64 regions and ranked No. 38 on the UK’s Official Singles Top 100. It also garnered 100 million streams on Spotify in 32 days, setting a record for a K-pop female soloist. The album “ME” became the first million-seller from a female K-pop singer, with 1.17 million copies sold in its first week.
