Marking the 31st anniversary this year, Johyun Gallery opened its space in Gwanganli, Busan, under the name Gallery World in 1989. In 2007, the gallery reestablished itself at a new exhibition space in Dalmaji Hill near Haeundae Beach with a beautiful panoramic view down to the ocean of Busan, prompting to reshape the neighborhood into an art hub. Along with the opening of another space in Chungdamdong, Seoul, in 2007, it aims to take a role as a leading instrument to introduce and exhibit diverse works of art.
