The music video for “Pink Venom,” a pre-release song from K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s 2nd regular album, has surpassed 500 million views on YouTube.
The agency YG Entertainment announced on the 7th that the music video exceeded 500 million views around 1:07 am on the same day.
“Pink Venom” is a hip-hop genre song that draws attention by arranging traditional instrument sounds in the intro.
The music video recorded 90.4 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release. This is the world's highest record ever set by a global female singer. It also surpassed 100 million views at the fastest speed among K-pop girl group music videos.
Meanwhile, in 2023, BLACKPINK will continue their world tour in Asia and Oceania to meet fans around the world.
