Rising K-pop Sensation Marks Milestones with Second EP "Get Up"

Its impressive journey began with a debut at the top of the weekly chart in August, and it has maintained a consistent presence for 17 consecutive weeks.
Adding to their accomplishments, the quintet made history by performing at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on Monday, becoming the first K-pop girl group to do so. Furthermore, NewJeans received the Top Global K-Pop Artist award, highlighting their growing impact on the global music scene.

On Monday, music platform Spotify reported that NewJeans achieved 100 million plays for their track "Cool With You." This marks the tenth song by the rookie sensation to reach this milestone. The song, a main track from their second EP, "Get Up," made its debut on Billboard's Hot 100 at No. 93. Notably, all three lead singles from the EP secured positions on the main songs chart in August, making NewJeans the second K-pop artist, after BTS, to have three simultaneous songs on the chart.
