Singer Yong Jun-hyung is scheduled to hold his first solo concert in Hong Kong in 10 months. The concert, titled "Beautiful Dystopia," is slated for June 29 at Hong Kong's AXA Dreamland. Yong's last performance in the region was during the "Loner's Room" concert held in September of the previous year.
"Beautiful Dystopia" serves as the title of Yong's third EP, released on March 25. According to his agency, Black Made, the album has achieved the top position on iTunes Top Album Charts in six regions and has made its entry into the Hong Kong Apple Music Albums chart.
Yong debuted in 2009 as a member of the six-member band Beast under Cube Entertainment. Following their transition to Highlight under the label Around US Entertainment in 2017, Yong departed from the group in March 2019 amidst controversy related to his involvement with illicit videos circulated by singer Jung Joon-young. Subsequently, Yong embarked on his solo career in November 2022 under Black Made, an independent label.
In March, Yong was reported to be in a relationship with fellow singer HyunA, following sightings of the two holding hands at an airport in Thailand.
