Kwon SunYoung's Colorful Artwork Draws Attention at Art Busan 2023

Painter Kwon SunYoung has teamed up with the Art New York Gallery in Busan to showcase his artwork at the Art Busan 2023 exhibition. The viewer has been captivated by the splendid colors in several of his works. Various objects depicted on the canvas, mixed with flowers, have prompted various thoughts among viewers.
Kwon graduated from Hongik University's Department of Painting in 2007, earned his Master's in Painting (MFA) from the Cranbrook Academy of Art, and his PhD in Design from Myongji University in 2020.
Kwon has participated in several residencies, including Cell Space_CA_USA, I-Park_CT_USA, and Spiro Art_UT_USA in 2010 and 2011. Kwon has taken part in dozens of individual and group exhibitions, including his 10th group exhibition.
In 2020, Kwon received the Excellence Award at the Namdo Cultural Foundation National Young Artist Art Contest. Kwon's works are owned by various institutions and organizations, such as the Namdo Cultural Foundation, Suwon City, Shinhan Bank, Seoul Asan Medical Center, and H1 CLUB Clubhouse.
