Korean painter Kim Miyoung graduated from Ewha Womans University's Department of Oriental Painting and the Graduate School of Oriental Painting, then completed her postgraduate studies in painting at the Royal College of Art in London. She has participated in residencies and exhibitions in various countries, including Paris, London, Iceland, and Finland. Kim Miyoung embraces unexpected effects, and in the process of filling the entire canvas by drawing, spreading, covering, and dripping paint while the previous layer has not dried, she adds her unique abstractness to her work.
