Seventeen's 11th EP, "Seventeenth Heaven," has clinched the top position on four charts tracked by Billboard Japan. Additionally, the mini album has also secured the number one spot on Oricon's weekly albums ranking. This accomplishment marks the group's seventh consecutive chart-topping album and their 11th overall, solidifying their status as the act with the most albums to achieve this feat on the weekly chart, as confirmed by their agency, Pledis Entertainment.
In a remarkable achievement, "Seventeenth Heaven" sold over 5.09 million copies during its first week of release, establishing a new high-water mark for first-week album sales in the history of K-pop.
Seventeen is further engaging with their fans through their "The City" project, which spans five cities in Japan. The 13-member group embarked on their Japan tour in Tokyo in September, and they are set to visit four more cities, concluding the tour in mid-December.
