Jeongyeon, a member of the popular K-pop group Twice, has unveiled her rendition of "O Christmas Tree" in an exclusive collaboration with Apple Music, as announced by JYP Entertainment. This marks her participation in Apple Music's "Carols Covered" project, making her the first K-pop musician to join this annual holiday collection.
The "Carols Covered" project, initiated in 2020, has previously featured renowned artists such as British pop singer Ellie Goulding and American singer-songwriter Muni Long. Jeongyeon expressed her hope that her cover of "O Christmas Tree" would evoke sweet holiday memories for listeners, describing the song as a personal favorite that brings back fond recollections of spending time with friends and family during the festive season.
Simultaneously, Twice is actively engaged in its fifth international tour, encompassing 25 cities with a total of 44 concerts. The next concert in this tour is scheduled to take place on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia.
