Marking a significant milestone in their musical journey, girl group Primrose is set to captivate fans with their upcoming release, "Laffy Taffy," scheduled for August 18. The album holds particular significance as it is the group's first music release following a recent change in members, reflecting a newfound synergy and a mature musical spectrum, according to a press release from their agency, A.O Entertainment.

Currently comprising four members, Primrose welcomes Ruby, Rainie, Nahyun, and Ha Yun to the lineup, each bringing their unique talent and artistry to the group. The quartet's collaboration is said to be a harmonious blend, promising a musical experience that will leave audiences captivated.

Primrose initially debuted as a duo in January 2023 with members Yeum and Ruby. However, in March, Yeum, known by his real name Jeong Myoeng-woo, made the difficult decision to depart from the group, citing personal and health-related concerns. In May, Primrose welcomed two new members, Nahyun and Rainie, to their ranks. Nahyun, formerly a member of girl group Hot Issue, which debuted in 2021, brings her seasoned experience and talents to enhance the group's dynamics. Rainie, who debuted as a member of bugAboo in the same year, also adds her unique artistry to the mix, having embarked on her musical journey with bugAboo until the group's disbandment in December 2022.
