CJ ENM recently unveiled the dates for KCON Saudi Arabia 2023, a highly anticipated event slated for October 6 and 7 at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City. Following the triumph of its inaugural edition last year, which drew a remarkable 20,000 fans, KCON is making a resounding return to Saudi Arabia.
This year's event is set to feature an impressive roster of 14 K-pop acts, including well-known names like Dreamcatcher, EL7Z UP, EVNNE, Everglow, Highlight, Hyolyn, KARD, Oh My Girl, RIIZE, Super Junior, Super Junior D&E, TEMPEST, The New Six, and 8TURN.
Building on its 11-year legacy of success, KCON has already made its mark in 2023 with events in Thailand and Japan, garnering an audience of 123,000 in the latter. Notably, KCON LA 2023, a three-day extravaganza at Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center, set a new attendance record, drawing an astonishing 140,000 attendees.
Shim Jun-beom, CJ ENM's music content business head, emphasized that this year's KCON aims to offer a diverse range of shows and conventions, particularly considering the evolving circumstances surrounding the pandemic. He underlined KCON's commitment to providing a global platform for K-pop enthusiasts, enabling interactions and opportunities to indulge in various aspects of K-culture content, both online and offline.
