Netflix announced on Wednesday the renewal of the original dating show "Single's Inferno" for its fourth season. The franchise's extension to a fourth season is a significant milestone, making it the first Korean Netflix variety show to achieve this distinction.

Additionally, it achieved top 10 rankings in 31 countries, including Japan, Indonesia, and Taiwan, as reported by the streaming platform.

Producer Kim Jae-won expressed commitment to improving the show based on feedback from fans, stating, "We will do our best to make a better season with the fourth one, listening to the support and criticism fans gave us for the recently concluded season."

While details about the upcoming season have not been disclosed, "Single's Inferno" follows the journey of single men and women seeking love on a deserted island known as "Inferno." The unique premise restricts the use of electronics, and participants must fend for themselves by cooking meals and finding water. The ultimate goal is to escape the island as a couple, with matched contestants moving on to a luxurious hotel called "Paradise" for a romantic date night.

The series' inaugural season aired from December 2021 to January 2022, followed by the second season, which ran from December 2022 to January 2023.
