K-pop girl group Le Sserafim will join the star-studded lineup for ABC's iconic New Year's Eve television special, bringing Korean pop music to one of America's most-watched year-end celebrations. The network announced on Tuesday that the group will perform alongside the musical artists behind Netflix's popular animated film "KPop Demon Hunters" on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026.
ABC confirmed through its social media channels that Le Sserafim will share the stage with Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, who are the real-life performers behind the fictional girl group Huntr/x featured in the Netflix animated movie. This collaboration represents a unique crossover between traditional K-pop acts and artists associated with streaming platform content, highlighting the growing influence of Korean entertainment in American media.
The legendary television program, which has been a cornerstone of American New Year's Eve celebrations since 1972, broadcasts live annually on December 31st from the heart of New York's Times Square as millions of viewers watch the ball drop to welcome the new year. This year's impressive performer lineup also features global superstars including pop icon Mariah Carey, chart-topping artist Post Malone, and rising sensation Chappell Roan, creating a diverse mix of musical genres and generational appeal.
According to Source Music, Le Sserafim's management agency, the group is scheduled to perform two of their hit songs during the broadcast: "Crazy" and "Spaghetti." These performances will give the K-pop act significant exposure to American audiences during one of the year's most-watched television events, potentially reaching tens of millions of viewers nationwide and further expanding the group's international fanbase.
