Data from January to November Highlights Popular Keywords on Naver's Mobile Application

The movie achieved remarkable success, selling 10 million tickets in just 32 days after its May 31 release. Following closely were "Oppenheimer," "Suzume," Disney animation "Elemental," and Korean action crime film "Smugglers."
Noteworthy search terms for December included the Korean movie "12.12: The Day," a fictionalized historical film centered around a military coup in Seoul on Dec. 12, 1979.
Sports-related searches highlighted "pro baseball" as the top term, trailed by "The 19th Hangzhou Asian Games," "Premier League," "Tottenham," and "The 19th Hangzhou Asian Games Soccer."
Gaming enthusiasts showed a keen interest in "LCK" (League of Legends Champions Korea), with "MapleStory Inven" and the term for EA Sports' soccer game FIFA Online 4 also making the list.
Across all categories, the most searched-for keyword on Naver's mobile application during the January-November period was "weather," followed by "YouTube."
On the desktop version of Naver, "YouTube" and "Coupang" emerged as the most and second-most popular keywords, respectively.
As of Thursday, Naver held a dominant 59.64 percent share of the domestic internet search market, while Google accounted for 29.6 percent. Korean search engine Daum and Microsoft Bing recorded market shares of 4.53 percent and 2.47 percent, respectively, according to web analytics site Internet Trend.
