SM Entertainment Confirms Artist's Contribution to the Community Chest of Korea

Doyoung, a member of the boy band NCT, has made a donation of 50 million won ($38,610) to the Community Chest of Korea to aid children in need during the Christmas season. The contribution was confirmed by his agency, SM Entertainment, on Saturday. 

▲ Courtesy of SM ENTERTAINMENTIn a statement released by the artist, Doyoung expressed his desire for children to have a special and heartwarming Christmas, hoping that his support would contribute to creating cherished memories for them. This marks one of several donations made by Doyoung throughout his career.

Earlier this year, in February, Doyoung was recognized as a member of the Honor Society for his donation of 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea. This significant acknowledgment is bestowed upon individuals who contribute more than 100 million won to the organization.

Doyoung, who debuted as a member of NCT in 2016 under SM Entertainment, currently participates in three NCT subunits: NCT 127, NCT U, and NCT Dojaejung.
