"Sleep" narrates the chilling tale of newlyweds whose lives take a terrifying turn when the husband exhibits peculiar behavior while asleep. The film was featured in the Cannes Critics' Week section at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, a segment dedicated to the works of emerging directors showcasing their first and second films.

At the Festival International du Film Fantastique de Gerardmer, the horror film "Sleep," featuring the late actor Lee Sun-kyun, has been awarded the best picture honor.
