Western painter Jung Hae-sook's sixth solo exhibition, 'Peace of Mind' will be held in 107 Gallery, Gokseong from the 16th to the 22nd.
This exhibition will display 35 works depicting us living in nature.
The artist captured the process of healing negative emotions such as hate, despair, and anger from a relationship through nature.
Natural elements such as mountains and trees in her work are expressed as human portraits. The artist expresses the relationship between humans and nature through the personification of nature.
Jung said, "It's meaningful because it's the first exhibition in Gokseong" and, "I drew characters with hope, peace, love, reconciliation, joy, forgiveness, and gratitude for all living things in our community." The artist hopes that visitors will feel peace of mind through the exhibition.
Jung graduated from Chosun University's Department of Painting and won the grand prize at the jeollanam-do Art Exhibition. She is active in art as a first artist in various art associations.
