Actor Lee Sun-kyun, facing allegations of illegal drug use, was summoned for the third time by the drug crime investigation unit of the Incheon Police Agency. The investigation, focused on suspected marijuana and psychotropic drug use under the Narcotics Control Act, took place on Saturday and extended into Sunday.

The latest investigation, initiated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, continued into Sunday, with the police obtaining Lee's consent for a late-night interrogation until 5 a.m. Such late-night sessions require the consent of the individuals being questioned, provided an extended investigation is deemed necessary, as per related laws that prohibit investigations between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Upon leaving the police building on Sunday morning, Lee Sun-kyun informed reporters that he had also completed questioning as the plaintiff in a blackmail case. He has filed a lawsuit against a manager of an entertainment establishment in Gangnam District, accusing them of blackmail related to the ongoing drug investigation. Lee expressed confidence in the police's ability to assess the credibility of his statements and those of the alleged blackmailers.

When asked about the allegations of drug use, Lee responded that he had "answered all questions sincerely during the police investigation today." Previously, the actor had tested negative in a reagent test using urine and in a detailed analysis conducted by the National Forensic Service using hair samples.

The Incheon Police Agency had investigated a total of 10 individuals, including Lee Sun-kyun, on suspicion of illegal drug use. Notably, the case involving singer G-Dragon was closed, as the police determined that he had not used illegal drugs.
