It has professionally been raising and introducing young artists to the public. During nearly thirty years, the gallery has been diligently running by Mrs. Shon, the representative of the Chung Jark Gallery. She was pleased whenever the Chung Jark Gallery has sponsored special invitational and charity exhibition for the physically handicapped artists, especially famous artist “Gi-Chang, Kim” who already passed away.
Moreover, in 2006, Seoul Open Art Fair (SOAF) was organized by the representative of the Chung Jark Gallery as a co-partner to develop Art market as well as exclusively supporting promising young artists.
In this global age, Chung Jark Gallery has been participating in the various international art fairs;
especially Art Cologne 2005(Germany), SCOPE 2013, LA, Sydney, Spain and Shanghai (more than 35 times) with Korean artists to introduce and promote domestic artists into the international art world. Also, the Gallery continues to play a significant role in introducing various and decent exhibitions; as well as leading healthy art culture. Encouragement and your support will be appreciated.
