Singer and actor Rain, also known as Jung Ji-hoon, revealed plans for his first solo concert in Korea in nine years. Titled "2024 RAIN CONCERT: STILL RAINING – SEOUL," the event is scheduled to take place at the Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park on June 8 and 9.
Rain made the announcement through his social media platforms, humorously expressing his intention to dance until the very end of the performance. He joked about scheduling a hospital appointment post-concert and assured fans that his singing would be satisfying.
The upcoming concert follows Rain's successful "2023 THE RAIN TOUR 'STILL RAINING'" held in the United States in November 2023. It marks his return to the local stage after a hiatus of nine years since "RAIN TOUR 'The Squall'" in 2015.
Detailed information regarding ticketing schedules for the concert is expected to be released soon.
Rain, who debuted as a solo singer in 2002, gained widespread popularity with hit songs such as "How to Run From the Sun" (2003) and "Rainism" (2008). He married top actor Kim Tae-hee in 2017 and has two daughters. Additionally, Rain has recently completed filming for the upcoming Disney+ drama "Red Swan," scheduled to air in the latter half of the year.
