A massive beetle sculpture has taken up residence in New York's Central Park, capturing the attention of visitors and passersby. The striking aluminum artwork, standing over 16 feet tall, was created by Berlin-based artist Monira Al Qadiri and has been installed in the southeastern corner of the iconic park. The sculpture, titled "First Sun," presents a fascinating fusion of insect and human forms. The giant beetle is positioned on top of a woman's bust, replacing where the face would typically be located.
