The sensational K-pop group Rocket Punch is set to steal the hearts of fans once again with their latest single album, "Boom." This eagerly awaited release comes one year after the group's successful second single album, "Flash."

In a creative twist, Rocket Punch has returned with a high school teen concept designed to emphasize the members' loveliness and youthful charm. The album features three captivating tracks, with the title track "Boom" leading the way. "Boom" is a pop dance masterpiece characterized by addictive synth sounds and a rhythmic bass line that's sure to get fans grooving.

Yeonhee, the leader of Rocket Punch, shared their creative vision during a press conference in Seoul, stating, "We wanted to come back with a bright song because our previous release was a bit darker in tone. As you will see in the music video, the story of this song revolves around us as high school influencers who take on keyboard warriors and rise to even greater popularity."

Rocket Punch, comprised of six talented members - Juri, Yeonhee, Suyun, Yunkyoung, Sohee, and Dahyun - has introduced an intriguing highlight choreography called the "music box" dance. Yunkyoung, one of the members, explained, "The main dance move involves circling our fingers around our other hand, mimicking the action of winding up a music box."

The album also includes a fan song titled "Alive," a heartfelt expression of the group's gratitude to their dedicated fans for their unwavering love and support over the years.

Dahyun emphasized the group's dedication during their one-year hiatus, stating, "During our break, we practiced diligently every day to improve our performance, which not only enhanced our teamwork but also boosted our confidence."

Rocket Punch made their debut in 2019, and although their journey began with promise, they faced challenges in achieving remarkable success. Several of their members, including Juri, Suyun, and Yeonhee, participated in Mnet's survival program, "Queendom Puzzle," aimed at giving both established and emerging girl groups a second chance at stardom. Yeonhee emerged as one of the top seven finalists of the show, debuting as part of the project girl group El7z Up.

Reflecting on this experience, Yeonhee shared, "My fellow members provided unwavering support during my time on the show, even contributing ideas for my performances. This program brought us even closer as a group."

With approximately five years since their debut and numerous album releases, Rocket Punch is now poised to be recognized as a "complete" and "perfect" group. They aspire to win the hearts of even more fans and showcase a diverse range of performances in the coming years.
