On Thursday, agency IWillMedia announced that Yook Sungjae of BTOB is set to make a solo comeback in the first half of this year.
This marks Yook's return as a solo artist four years after the release of his debut solo album, "YOOK O'clock," which comprised seven tracks, including six from a months-long singles project. The upcoming album aims to showcase Yook's evolution as a singer and will explore a variety of genres, according to the agency.
Last week, Yook shared a cover of "Beautiful Things" by American singer and songwriter Benson Boone on his newly launched YouTube channel. The channel debuted a week prior to the cover's release.
Additionally, Yook will join his BTOB bandmates on stage in Seoul from March 22-24 for the band's concert titled "Our Dream." BTOB is also in the process of preparing a group album, marking their first release since parting ways with Cube Entertainment after an 11-year partnership.
