In a comprehensive social media post on Monday, DJ Soda disclosed her distressing encounter, stating that she fell victim to sexual harassment while performing at the Osaka Music Circus Festival in Japan. She shared, "My hands are still trembling from shock and fear after what just happened."
Recounting the incident, she detailed, "As my performance neared its conclusion, I approached my fans in an attempt to forge a closer connection. Regrettably, a group of individuals within the crowd initiated unwanted physical contact by groping my breasts before I could even process the situation." As substantiation, DJ Soda attached several photographs captured during the distressing episode.
Expressing her turmoil, she continued, "At that moment, I felt sheer terror. However, amidst this disheartening encounter, there were numerous fans who exhibited joy upon seeing me, with some even moved to tears. Faced with this duality, I endeavored to maintain a façade of normalcy."
Reflecting on the aftermath, DJ Soda admitted, "Even now, I remain profoundly shaken. Throughout my decade-long career as a DJ, I have never encountered such a distressing scenario while performing on stage. This incident has cast a shadow of apprehension over my prospects of engaging closely with my fans in the future."
