In a dazzling display of international music talent, South Korean girl group Blackpink has emerged as a frontrunner for this year's MTV Video Music Awards, earning an impressive six nominations. Announced by MTV on Friday in the United States, Blackpink's nominations span various categories, including Best Editing, Best Art Direction, Best Choreography, Best K-pop, Group of the Year, and Show of the Summer. Their spectacular debut performance as a K-pop girl band at last year's awards, featuring the megahit song "Pink Venom," left an indelible mark on the global stage.
Adding to the K-pop phenomenon, Tomorrow X Together has secured four nominations for their infectious track "Sugar Rush Ride."
