Annual K-pop Event Expected to Draw Large Crowd

Im Baek-woon, president of the Korean Entertainment Producer’s Association, emphasized the concert’s significance, noting that it has chronicled the evolution of K-pop from its inception in the 1990s to its current status as a globally recognized cultural phenomenon.
This year's event will include the announcement of the "dream rookie" of the year, selected through a voting process conducted via the K-pop Seoul app from Monday to September 26. The lineup of performers for the 2024 Dream Concert has yet to be disclosed.

The Dream Concert, an annual K-pop event, will take place on October 19, 2024, at Goyang Stadium in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, according to an announcement made on Wednesday by the Korean Entertainment Producer’s Association.
Established in 1995, Dream Concert is the longest-running K-pop concert. The event has been co-organized this year by the Korean Entertainment Producer’s Association, the Korea Tourism Organization, and the city of Goyang.
