iKon, the South Korean boy band sensation, has taken off on its global concert tour "Take Off" with a high-energy, two-day series of concerts at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The group, which has six members, performed both old hits and fresh new songs from its third full-length album, "Take Off," which was released on Thursday. The band expressed its gratitude to fans during the Seoul gigs, saying, "Thank you for being our everything." The tour, which marks iKon's first concerts in Europe, will take the group to over 20 cities in Asia, Europe, and the US.
SEOUL — K-Pop sensation iKon has launched its "Take Off" world tour with a spectacular two-day series of live performances at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The band, consisting of Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-Ne, and Chan, performed both old hits and new songs from their highly anticipated third full-length album, "Take Off."
Fans were thrilled by the energy and excitement of the performances, which lasted for three hours each night. The concerts were iKon's first in Seoul in nearly a year, following their concert series "Flashback" in June 2022.
During the Seoul gigs, the members expressed their gratitude to fans, saying, "We're happy that the six members can be together. It's all thanks to the fans that the six of us could stay together while preparing for this concert and the album. Thank you for being our everything." The statement was released by 143 Entertainment on Sunday.
"Take Off" is also iKon's first global tour since signing with 143 Entertainment after leaving their original agency, YG Entertainment, in December. The tour will take the group to over 20 cities in Asia, Europe, and the US, with the next show scheduled in Taiwan on May 21.
