The band was also honored with Musician of the Year and Best Modern Rock Album for the releases "Machine Boy" and "Tik Tak Tok," both recognized for their artistic value and uniqueness, having debuted in April and August the previous year.

Beenzino's victory marked a significant moment as he became the first hip-hop artist in eight years to secure the Album of the Year accolade. His success extended to the Best Rap & Hip-Hop Album category with the same album.

In the category of Rookie of the Year, the four-member multinational girl group Kiss of Life emerged as the recipient of the coveted trophy.
