Meet the diverse features of the K-Culture, INTO THE_K Festival

The K-Festival takes place in the Gwanghwmun and Jamsil area from September 31st to October 8th. It is a one-week event of major global Hallyu festival that connects Korean culture with the world. The K-Culture Festival introduces the overall Korean culture, from pop culture, such as K-pop and K-drama, to food, beauty, fashion and more.
An official slogan of K-Festival is “INTO THE -K”. Under this slogan it will present global Hallyu fans with a fantastic experience as if they are exploring the enchanting planet of 'THE K.' Hallyu fans from all over the world will have a meaningful experience on the planet 'THE K' and become the star of the event through this K-Culture Festival that involves the participation of many fandoms.
The K-Culture Festival will mainly consist of 'THE-K DRAMA Concert,' which includes a K-drama musical gala show, drama talk and music concert, etc., 'THE-K Concert', where all the top-tier idol groups, and the total Korean culture 'THE-K Parade'. All around the festival will be Korean traditional music, K-classical music, indie, hip-hop, and other genres of Korean music. Plus, exhibitions and performances by young artists will show the audience the new energy of Korean culture.
The festival will finish with a parade that includes everything from Korean traditional culture, icons and performances from K-pop and K-drama. The parade that starts from Jongno 5-ga to Gwanghwamun Square will offer a meaningful experience and bring everyone together through 'THE K.' The general public and Hallyu fans can participate in the parade.
K-Festival have enhanced the programs where domestic and international fans can take part as creators instead of simply as consumers of K-content. At each booth in the 'Fandom Making Space' at the Jamsil Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium, there will be art spaces where artist fandoms can express themselves freely. There will also be a 'K-Culture Challenge' where fans can suggest makeup styles and costumes to K-pop artists and enter their fan art in a contest so that they can boast their art skills.
