"The Player 2: Master of Swindlers" is set to premiere on tvN, promising a larger scale than its first season. The series aims to continue tvN's successful streak, which includes popular shows such as "Queen of Tears" and "Marry My Husband."
Originally airing in 2018 on OCN, "The Player" series returns with actors Song Seung-heon, Lee Si-eon, and Tae Won-seok reprising their roles. New cast members for the second season include Oh Yeon-seo and Jang Gyu-ri.
The series follows Kang Ha-ri, a skilled con artist played by Song Seung-heon, who works with his team to steal from wealthy individuals. Director So Jae-hyun noted that the new season will feature a larger scale and enhanced character development. He emphasized that the switch from OCN to tvN allowed for a more engaging and exciting series.
"The Player 2: Master of Swindlers" will premiere on tvN at 8:50 p.m. next Monday.
