"Emperor of Trot" Na Hoon-a to Conclude Illustrious Career with Final Nationwide Tour

Renowned as the "Emperor of Trot" in South Korea, singer Na Hoon-a has revealed his decision to retire after a remarkable 58-year career in the music industry. The 77-year-old artist conveyed the news through a letter titled "Thank You!" released by his agency on Tuesday.

He stated, "Leave when the applause is loudest," signaling his intention to conclude his career on a high note.

The iconic singer will embark on his final nationwide tour starting in April. The tour will commence with a concert in Incheon on April 27, followed by performances in Cheongju on May 11, Ulsan on May 18, Changwon on June 1, Cheonan on June 15, Wonju on June 22, and Jeonju on July 6.

Na Hoon-a's illustrious career began in 1966 with his debut track, "A Thousand Miles of Way." Over the years, he gained immense popularity with hit songs such as "Love" (1976), "Why are You Crying" (1989), and "Tender Passion" (2002). Even in 2020, he remained relevant in the music industry with the release of "Brother Tes."
