Singer and chief producer of JYP Entertainment, Park Jin-young, is preparing to release a new digital single titled "Changed Man" on November 20, according to the agency.
This marks Park's first release in approximately a year, following "Groove Back," which was launched a year ago. For "Changed Man," he collaborated with veteran singer-dancer Kim Wan-sun, creating a synth-pop genre track that encapsulates the sensibility of the 1980s, as per JYP Entertainment.
During an appearance on the popular talk show "You Quiz on the Block," Park described the song as an exploration of personal change, particularly from his past "party boy" days. He expressed that the track also delves into feelings of guilt, as he still finds himself thinking about things he shouldn't, despite the transformation in his behavior.
Park Jin-young made his debut in 1994 with the release of "Don't Leave Me" from his first album, "Blue City." Over the years, he has delivered hit songs, including "She Was Pretty" (1996), "Honey" (1998), and "I Have a Girlfriend" (2001). In 1997, he founded JYP Entertainment, a prominent K-pop agency responsible for managing and producing successful K-pop artists such as TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY, and Nmixx.
