Kim Jong-kook to Hold First Fan Meeting in Japan in 16 Years

Singer Kim Jong-kook is set to reconnect with his Japanese fanbase after a 16-year hiatus. His agency, Turbo JK Co., confirmed that the "Loveable Fanmeeting in Japan 2024" will take place at the Tempo Harbor Theater in Osaka, Japan, on April 6.
This event marks Kim Jong-kook's first fan meeting in Japan since his last one in Tokyo in 2008 and his last performance in Japan in Tokyo and Osaka in 2010. Turbo JK Co. revealed that Kim Jong-kook is planning various activities to engage his fans, recognizing the significant time gap since his previous visit.
In anticipation of the fan meeting, Kim Jong-kook will release his new song, "Arrival of Spring," on Tuesday at 6 p.m. This release marks his first solo song since "My Love" in January 2022.
Kim Jong-kook rose to prominence as the leader and vocalist of the three-member boy band Turbo, debuting in 1995. Following his debut, he ventured into a successful solo career, establishing himself as one of Korea's prominent vocalists known for his distinctive voice. Additionally, Kim Jong-kook has made appearances in various entertainment shows throughout his career.
