Riize's debut EP, "Riizing," sold over 1.2 million copies in its first week, according to a statement by their label, SM Entertainment, on Monday, citing a local tally. This marks the rookie band's second million-selling album, following their debut single "Get A Guitar," which was released in September of last year.
The EP, led by the track "Boom Boom Bass," has topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 10 regions and has performed well on various music charts both domestically and internationally. Grammy.com described the eight-track EP as showcasing the group's versatility and willingness to experiment with genres, highlighting their youthful energy and distinct personalities.
Starting in mid-July, Riize will embark on a fan concert tour, visiting Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, and nine cities in Japan. Prior to their Japanese tour, the band plans to release a Japanese-language single titled "Lucky."
