Since its opening in 2013, G Gallery has established itself as one of South Korea's leading contemporary galleries by introducing talented young artists from home and abroad and presenting a diverse range of curated exhibitions. Basing their projects on a fresh perspective, G Gallery has served as a platform for various cultural art trends through collaborations between designers and artists, as well as domestic and foreign artists.
Starting with ‘Great Exhibition’ in 2019, a project that provides exhibition opportunities for young artists in their 20s and 30s, G Gallery is acting as an experimental cultural space that introduces arts of various fields, including video, new media, installation work, and performance art.
Based on the idea that galleries should be a bridge that connects the public and art, G Gallery also has collaborated with different brands, corporations, and museums on special exhibitions and programs such as ‘art walkings’ to better promote artists to the public.
G Gallery will continue to strive to actively support artists and hold experimental exhibitions as a means to encourage diversity in contemporary art.
