Chanty, a member of the girl group Lapillus, will be taking an indefinite break from group activities due to health reasons. Her agency, MLD Entertainment, disclosed on Friday that Chanty has been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome.
According to the agency's news release, Chanty's health condition has shown improvement with ongoing monitoring and treatment. However, engaging in high-intensity group activities poses a risk of symptom relapse.
While Chanty will maintain her membership in Lapillus and continue with individual activities, her participation in group singing activities will be postponed indefinitely, as stated by the agency.
Chanty made her debut as part of Lapillus in 2022, and the group most recently released its second EP, titled "Girl's Round Part. 2," in June of the same year.
