Jimin, a member of the world-renowned K-pop sensation BTS, continues to make history as a solo artist, setting new records on the American music streaming platform Pandora Music. On June 27, Jimin achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first K-pop soloist to amass 500,000 monthly listeners on the platform. This achievement came merely three months after his official solo debut in March with the album "Face."

Jimin's numbers continued to soar, surpassing even the collective listenership of BTS as a group. On June 30, his monthly listeners reached an impressive 594,000, overtaking BTS' 571,000 and establishing a new all-time high for a K-pop act on Pandora Music. Undeterred, Jimin went on to break his own record the following day, reaching an astonishing 610,000 monthly listeners. Furthermore, his music accumulated over 10 million streams on the same day, highlighting his enduring popularity among global audiences.

Pandora Music, ranked as the third largest music streaming service in the United States, following Spotify and Apple Music, provides a significant platform for Jimin's groundbreaking achievements. His unprecedented success within the American music market solidifies his position as a trailblazing Korean singer, captivating listeners with his unique artistry and undeniable talent.

Jimin's solo debut album, "Face," made an indelible mark on the music industry, catapulting him to new heights on Billboard's main albums chart, the Billboard 200, where it secured an impressive No. 2 position. Additionally, the album's title track, "Like Crazy," propelled Jimin to become the first Korean singer to lead the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart as a solo artist.

According to Billboard, "Like Crazy" amassed a staggering 254,000 units in its first week, combining song downloads and physical copies, making it the highest single-week total sales since Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" (2022) with 328,000 units and BTS' "Dynamite" (2020) with 300,000 units. The song's resounding success extended beyond Billboard, reaching the top spot on Spotify's global daily chart, further solidifying Jimin's status as the first K-pop solo artist to debut atop the renowned streaming platform.

In a recent announcement, Pandora Music revealed that "Like Crazy" had become the most-streamed song in the United States, garnering an impressive 362,244 streams since its release on March 24. Jimin's undeniable charisma and musical prowess continue to captivate listeners worldwide, propelling him to unprecedented heights in the global music scene.

Further cementing his position as a groundbreaking artist, Jimin achieved yet another milestone with his song "Angel Pt. 1," an original soundtrack for the US action film "Fast X." The track entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its second week of release, marking Jimin as the first Korean solo artist to have two songs chart for multiple weeks. Notably, "Like Crazy" spent an impressive five weeks on the Hot 100, solidifying Jimin's impact and longevity on the prestigious chart.
