Screams and cheers filled the halls of Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province over the weekend, as thousands of BTS fans — known as ARMY — gathered to celebrate the world-renowned group’s long-awaited return to the public spotlight.
The two-day in-person event, held Friday and Saturday, marked the offline portion of the 2025 BTS Festa, the group’s annual celebration commemorating their debut on June 13. Now in its 12th year, the Festa transformed the exhibition halls into a purple-hued homage to BTS’s legacy, drawing fans from around the globe.
BigHit Music, BTS’s agency, issued a press release Sunday thanking fans for their enthusiastic participation.
“We extend our deepest gratitude for the incredible support at the 2025 BTS Festa,” the company said. “Thanks to ARMY’s active participation and love, we were able to conclude the event safely and successfully. Please continue to look forward to the new journey that BTS and ARMY will embark on together."
This year’s offline Festa featured nearly 20 exhibitions and interactive zones designed to celebrate BTS’s history and impact. The immersive displays aimed to engage both domestic and international fans, offering unique experiences that spanned art, music, and behind-the-scenes content.
To accommodate global attendees, organizers ensured multilingual support, including staff fluent in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean Sign Language.
The BTS Festa typically runs for two weeks with events and content released both online and offline, creating a global celebration of one of K-pop’s most influential acts.
