On Friday, Bill Entertainment, the agency representing singer Yerin, announced the highly-anticipated release of her second EP, "Ready, Set, LOVE," scheduled to drop on August 23.
Following the success of her debut EP "Aria" in May last year, Yerin is all set to captivate audiences once again with her upcoming album. This release holds special significance as it marks her first musical endeavor under the banner of her new agency, Bill Entertainment. Yerin signed an exclusive contract with the agency in April, making "Ready, Set, LOVE" her much-anticipated debut under this new partnership.
The teaser, unveiled on Friday, offered a glimpse of the album's concept, featuring an eye-catching illustration inspired by a videogame arcade cabinet. Adorned with pixelated retro video game-inspired fonts, the teaser sparked excitement among fans, hinting at the unique and nostalgic elements Yerin is set to bring to her music.
Yerin rose to fame as a member of the popular girl group GFriend, known for their numerous chart-topping hits such as "Me Gustas Tu" (2015), "Rough" (2016), "Navillera" (2016), "Time for the moon night" (2018), and "Mago" (2020), among others. Despite the members parting ways with their original agency Source Music in 2021, GFriend has not officially disbanded, paving the way for solo pursuits for the talented artists.
As anticipation grows for "Ready, Set, LOVE," Yerin's fans eagerly await her solo venture, looking forward to witnessing the evolution of her artistry and the enchanting melodies she will offer in her latest EP. With her distinctive musicality and passion for the craft, Yerin's upcoming release is poised to leave a lasting impression in the hearts of music enthusiasts worldwide.
