Super Junior-D&E, the popular South Korean duo consisting of members Donghae and Eunhyuk, announced the release of their fifth EP titled "606," slated for launch at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The duo, speaking through their agency Ode Entertainment, emphasized their comprehensive involvement in the production process, describing it as a meticulous endeavor marking a new chapter in their career.
After a hiatus of over two and a half years since their last full-length album "Countdown" in November 2021, "606" marks the duo's return to the music scene. The EP comprises six tracks, with the lead single "GGB" and the pre-release track "Rose," which debuted on March 19. Inspired by motifs of the sun and moon frequently associated with their fanbase, Super Junior-D&E aimed to express their artistic identity and themes of day and night in the album.
As the duo embarks on this musical journey, they view "606" as a gesture of gratitude towards their loyal fanbase, acknowledging their patience and support during the hiatus. Looking ahead, Donghae and Eunhyuk conveyed their eagerness to continue creating music and engaging with fans, signaling a promising beginning to their future endeavors.
