Dezeen Partners with Social Media Sensation Nino Ferrari-Mathis as New Creator-at-Large

Architecture and design publication Dezeen has announced a major partnership with Nino Ferrari-Mathis, the creative mind behind the popular Instagram and TikTok account ninosbuildings. The collaboration will bring audiences exclusive video content showcasing the world's most remarkable architecture through Dezeen's social media channels.
Ferrari-Mathis, a French-Brazilian content creator and recent architecture graduate from Parsons School of Design, will hold the official title of creator-at-large at Dezeen. In this role, he will produce regular video content featuring explorations of both celebrated and overlooked buildings, along with exclusive interviews with renowned architects and designers. The partnership will deliver new content every six weeks, with the first film scheduled for release next Monday.
"Architecture today is full of question marks: why was a building designed this way, how do spaces shape the way we live, and what ideas guide the people who create them?" Ferrari-Mathis explained to Dezeen. "Through this partnership, I hope to give as many answers as possible in a one-minute video. No two videos will be in the same building or even country."
The collaboration builds on Dezeen's successful work with ninosbuildings throughout 2024, which has produced content across the United States and Europe. Their previous partnerships have included major projects such as unveiling the new Apple store in Miami and covering the ASUS Design You Can Feel exhibition. Audiences can follow the creator's travels by following both Dezeen and ninosbuildings on Instagram and TikTok.
Among their most successful collaborations, Ferrari-Mathis's exploration of the Sheats-Goldstein residence in Los Angeles achieved remarkable reach. The private home, designed by American architect John Lautner in the 1960s and featured in films including Charlie's Angels and The Big Lebowski, garnered over 6 million views and more than 500,000 likes on Dezeen's Instagram account.
Other notable content includes a January feature of Miami's latest Apple store, designed by Apple's in-house team. The Apple Miami Worldcenter building cleverly incorporates art-deco architectural elements while maintaining continuity with previous Apple store designs. In March, Ferrari-Mathis showcased the Dezeen and ASUS Design You Can Feel exhibition during Milan Design Week, featuring a kinetic installation and an interview with its designer, Studio INI.
Additionally, Ferrari-Mathis took audiences on a tour of New York's iconic TWA flight center, designed by Eero Saarinen. The video, highlighting the flight center's distinctive red interior, accumulated over one million views across Dezeen's social media platforms, demonstrating the strong audience appetite for architectural content.
This partnership represents Dezeen's commitment to reaching broader audiences through innovative social media content while maintaining their reputation for high-quality architectural journalism. The collaboration promises to bring architecture appreciation to new demographics through Ferrari-Mathis's engaging video format and global perspective on design.
