JYP Entertainment announced on Friday that the K-pop girl group Itzy is set to release its third single in Japan on May 15th.
Titled "Algorhythm," the single will include four tracks, featuring a title track along with "No Biggie," as well as instrumental versions of both songs. The release aims to convey the group's characteristic positive energy. Itzy's last new release in Japan was their first studio album, "Ringo," which debuted in October.
The upcoming single will notably feature only four members of the quintet, as Lia has been on a hiatus since November last year due to anxiety issues.
In addition to their music activities, Itzy is currently engaged in their second international tour, with a performance scheduled in Singapore on Saturday. The tour spans 28 regions across the world. Following this, the group will perform at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium on May 17th to 19th, extending their originally planned two-day Tokyo gig to three days.
