Lisa of the K-pop group Blackpink has hinted at her return as a solo artist through a video clip uploaded on Thursday. The video, showcasing her prominence in the fashion world, was accompanied by a notice on her individual website stating "Coming Soon" and providing pre-save options for her new music on Spotify and Apple Music.
In April, Lisa entered into a partnership with RCA Records, an American record label, through her own agency, Lloud Company, which she founded in February. Her previous solo album, released in September 2021, sold over 750,000 copies in its first week, marking a record for a K-pop female solo artist. The album’s title track, “Lalisa,” achieved No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 103 regions, reached No. 84 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and climbed to No. 64 on the UK’s Official Songs Chart Top 100. The B-side track “Money” also charted, peaking at No. 90 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 54 on the UK’s Official Songs Chart.
