Historic Major League Baseball Games to Feature Pregame Shows by Acclaimed K-pop Groups

The upcoming Major League Baseball (MLB) Seoul Series will feature pregame performances by popular K-pop groups aespa and (G)I-dle. Coupang Play, the presenting and marketing partner for the event, revealed that aespa will take the stage before Game 1, featuring the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres, on Wednesday at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome. (G)I-dle is scheduled to perform before Game 2 the following day.

The historic MLB games will mark the first time professional baseball events have taken place in Korea. The matches are set to begin at 7:05 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Coupang Play, the official streaming platform for the Seoul Series. In addition to the regular-season games, the streaming platform will cover exhibition matches between the MLB teams and Korean teams LG Twins and Kiwoom Heroes, as well as the Korean national team, on Sunday and Monday.
