Solar, a member of the popular K-pop girl group Mamamoo, is set to make her solo comeback with a new album on April 30, as confirmed by her agency RBW.
The announcement came through a teaser clip shared by Solar, revealing the title of her upcoming second EP, "Colours."
This forthcoming solo release marks Solar's return since her debut solo EP, "Face," which debuted in March 2022.
RBW stated that Solar's new album will encompass a variety of genres, aiming to highlight her versatile musical talents.
Since her solo debut in April 2020 with the single "Spit It Out," Solar has been recognized for her willingness to express her identity authentically. Notably, she filmed the music video for her debut single with a shaved head.
In addition to her music career, Solar is currently portraying the character Esmeralda in the musical "Notre-Dame de Paris."
Her venture into musical theater began in 2022 with her debut in the production "Matahari."
