"Mom's Friend's Son" to Feature Kim Ji-eun in Lead Role, Directed by Yoo Je-won

Director Yoo Je-won, known for works like "Oh My Ghost" (2015) and "Crash Course in Romance" (2023), reunites with scriptwriter Shin Ha-eun for "Mom's Friend's Son," marking their first collaboration since the successful rom-com series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" (2021).
Kim Ji-eun, who debuted in 2016 with a commercial, has showcased her versatility in various series. Her credits include the action series "The Veil" (2021), the action mystery "Again My Life" (2022), and the comedy-crime series "One Dollar Lawyer" (2022).

Actor Kim Ji-eun has been confirmed by HB Entertainment, her agency, to take on the lead role in tvN's upcoming romance series, "Mom's Friend's Son," co-starring with Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min.
Scheduled for later this year, the drama centers around two childhood friends, architect Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in) and businessperson Seok-ryu (Jung So-min). Seok-ryu, a confident and successful individual, faces a turning point in her life, encountering obstacles as she attempts to restart her journey, particularly when reuniting with childhood friend Seung-ho.
