The veteran K-pop girl group KARA will release a new song in July, their first release since the 15th-anniversary special album "Move Again" in November 2022, according to an announcement by their agency RBW on Wednesday. This release coincides with the group’s 17th anniversary this year.
KARA, known for its widespread appeal and dedicated fanbase, is expected to continue its impact on the K-pop scene. The group will also reunite with fans through its concert series, KARASIA, scheduled to be held in Tokyo and Osaka in August.
In 2022, the group’s album "Move Again" and its title track "When I Move" generated significant attention, with the song quickly rising to the top of major Korean music charts. The group also performed on TV Asahi's year-end special of "Music Station," a prominent Japanese music program, and "When I Move" was selected by Billboard as one of the "Best K-Pop Songs of 2022."
