Summer brings an exciting lineup of photography exhibitions and arts events across Europe, featuring diverse artistic celebrations from Provence to Paris and London. The season highlights include a new film festival dedicated to arts documentaries, contemporary photography exhibitions, and showcases of renowned photographers' work spanning multiple venues and countries.
The inaugural Dora Maar Film Festival represents a groundbreaking celebration of arts documentaries set in the picturesque region of Provence. Taking place from August 29th to August 31st, 2025, this new festival will be hosted at two distinguished venues: Hôtel du Tingry and Le Domaine du Fortin in Ménerbes, Provence. The festival promises to bring together documentary filmmakers and arts enthusiasts in one of France's most culturally rich regions.
In Paris, Galerie Arnoux will present a solo exhibition featuring the work of Bruno Sassarone from November 12th to November 22nd, 2025. Located at 27 rue Guénégaud in the 6th arrondissement, this gallery exhibition will showcase Sassarone's distinctive photographic vision in one of Paris's most prestigious art districts. The exhibition represents an important showcase of contemporary French photography.
London's cultural scene will feature "Grace and Fire," a comprehensive exhibition of works by renowned photographer Gérard Uféras. The exhibition runs throughout the month of August 2025 at Kulturalis, located at 14 Old Queen Street, London SW1H 9HP. The photography hub of Arles continues its tradition of showcasing cutting-edge contemporary work with an exhibition by David Meskhi at IRIS ARLES.
