Namyangju Nambu Police Precinct revealed Thursday that singer Park Bo-ram died of alcohol poisoning. The autopsy report attributed her death to "acute alcohol intoxication," a condition resulting from high blood alcohol content.
Park was found unconscious in a bathroom in Namyangju, Gyeonggi on the night of April 11 by friends after a night of drinking. She was 30 years old at the time of her death.
According to the police, Park was in poor health at the time, suffering from fatty liver disease and liver lesions.
Park gained public attention after appearing on Mnet's audition show "Superstar K 2" in 2010, where she finished as a Top 7 finalist. She officially debuted in August 2014 with the single "Beautiful (Feat. Zico of Block B)."
