Veteran Actor Nam Il-woo, Known for "Along with the Gods," Dies at 86

Nam Il-woo, a prominent actor recognized for his roles in the film franchise "Along with the Gods" and the 2005 psychological thriller "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance," passed away on Sunday at the age of 86, confirmed by an official from his management agency.
According to the agency representative, Nam's death was attributed to natural causes. He was represented by the same agency as his wife, fellow actor Kim Yong-rim.
Nam commenced his career as a voice actor for public broadcaster KBS in 1958, subsequently transitioning to television acting in 1964 with KBS as well. Throughout his extensive career, he featured in numerous television series, including the 2007 drama "War of Money" and the 2002 drama "Rustic Period," before making a significant mark in the realm of cinema.
Survived by his wife and their two children, Nam leaves behind a legacy in the entertainment industry. His son, Nam Seong-jin, follows in his footsteps as an actor and is married to actress Kim Ji-young.
